Reduce Your Golf Handicap with EFT
In the mid 1990 s Stanford – trained engineer Gary Craig turned the psychology world on its head with the introduction of Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT). EFT is a meridian-based therapy, often referred to as do-it-yourself acupuncture without the needles . Instead you simply tap on a few clearing points on the face and body while focusing on the negative emotion, in order to clear it.
Sounds a bit unusual, eh?
It is unusual.
But so are the results.
Gary and his team achieved astonishing results while working with war veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). These men had recurring nightmares, phobias, paranoia, shame and guilt among other socially crippling conditions and feelings. EFT was able to give them peace and hope in a matter of hours, where more traditional therapies had failed for years.
So what does this have to do with reducing your golf handicap?
Well, if EFT can help a war veteran with PTSD, then your first tee jitters, yips, or anxiety about hitting over water don t really stand a chance!
Try it for yourself.
The next time you are faced with a shot that is causing you any sort of negative emotion, do the following:
Step away from the ball.
Identify the negative feeling and focus on it while performing the tapping as described below.
1) Using the tips of your index and middle fingers, tap on the boney area about one inch directly below one eye approximately 10 times.
2) Next tap 10 times on the boney area just outside the same side eye.
3) Then tap the insides of your wrists together approximately 10 times.
4) Finally, take a deep breath, step up to the ball and swing away.
Yes, it really can be that simple to eliminate the mental and emotional barriers between you and consistent peak performance.
The above demonstration is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of the enormous potential inherent in these techniques to reduce your golf handicap and increase your enjoyment out on the links.

Hypnosis Cd – Building Super Confidence
Interestingly we do not build healthy self-confidence by sticking to what we know already and by excluding the unknown. Although through repetition and practice you will improve your skill, knowledge and competence, and therefore your confidence with any thing, after a time there comes a stage when you are just about as good as you can get. Unless it is the 100 metres dash, when even a split second can make the difference between success and second place, refining something to the nth degree will not make much difference to your level of confidence.
A great way of having a boost of confidence is to do something that is more of a challenge and where there may even be some element of anxiety and fear. This is not to suggest that you should do something dangerous to yourself or others. This is not what is meant. Anxiety and fear can come along when someone thinks about giving that speech to a group or that social occasion.
If these two events or others were times when you feel some anxiety or fear then these would be great opportunities to boost your confidence. Usually the first tactic used if an event like a party or other social gathering gives you anxiety is to make some excuse not to go. This tactic is called avoidance. It is a tactic that many employ. Unfortunately it does not help good self-confidence, and if anything, it begins to erode that person’s self-confidence. Avoidance, as a tactic, does not change the situation and in fact means that your life then becomes restricted because you do not attend those social functions.
Healthy self-confidence comes through facing up to you fears. You usually find that when you do face your fears that they are unfounded and often you may wonder why you worried in the first place. With the social function example, if you have previously avoided social situations, now try and find a way of attending them but with an element of control. What I mean is, do things a step at a time. Some ideas to help you take a step at a time are these: -
1) Tell a friend that you are nervous and could they stay with you until you feel more comfortable with the people around you.
2) Decide to attend for a certain period of time and then come away. Just because a party starts at 6pm and finishes at 2am it does not mean you have to stay there for that entire period. AN example would be arriving at 8:30pm and leaving about 11pm.
3) If you find conversation difficult, remember that people love talking about themselves. If you can get them on this subject and show an interest they will love you for it.
Self-confidence comes through doing things that are outside as well as inside our comfort zone. Other examples might be taking up scuba diving or horse riding or doing an evening class. All these activities or others that interest you may be new to you but they will add a new dimension to your life. May be one that has been missing. It is amazing how, just through doing one new thing, can really change our lives for the better.
A Hypnosis cd helps you to use the power of your imagination to work for you to see yourself succeeding at anything you want to. People with low confidence use the power of their imagination to see themselves failing. Confident people use their imagination to see and feel themselves succeeding. Why not use your imagination along with the support of self-confidence hypnosis cd to help you be positively different today.
